Nancy Smith:

L.M.T, Owner & Director
Nancy Smith is founder and director of Essence of Self Ayurveda Spa for Massage, Yoga and Health.
She is a licensed massage therapist and certified Ayurvedic Practitioner through the National Ayurvedic Professionals of North America (APNA), a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher, and a Level III Reiki Master Teacher.
Nancy received her Yoga and Ayurvedic certifications from the Kripalu Schools of Ayurveda and Yoga (MA). She received her Marma certification (Ayurvedic Acupressure) from the Ayurvedic Institute (NM), her Integrated Massage certification from the Lehigh Valley Healing Arts Academy (PA) and her Level III Reiki from Dogca Wellness Center (NJ).
Nancy became a Panchakarma Massage Specialist at Greens Ayurvedic Hospital, Mahe, Kerala, India in 2007. This experience in India allows her to apply the essence of authentic Indian panchakarma massage modified for the optimal American experience. She has been a dedicated Yoga Instructor and Reiki Master Teacher since 2001 and continues advanced Ayurvedic studies in addition to advanced Yoga Studies with MeriLynn Blum, MA, MAT, RYT (peacefulyoga.com) and
Rhonda Roehrich (Body Specific, Ringwood).
Nancy is a practitioner member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association, Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals, the Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association and the Yoga Alliance. She teaches Ayurvedic massage at the New Jersey School of Massage in Parsippany, and is also a faculty member at Ramapo College. Nancy also ministers as a Seton Associate through the Sisters of Charity in Convent Station, NJ.

Lisa Donzelli

C.M.T.
Lisa Donzelli has been a nationally certified Massage Therapist since 1995 and is a member of the AMTA. She specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Ayurvedic Massage. Lisa is also a Reconnective Healing Practitioner. She has studied abroad in Thailand and has also worked for professional athletes and actors.
Karin Liljestrand

C.M.T, L.M.T, Licensed Esthetician
Karin has been a massage therapist for five years and an esthetician for nine years. She has eight years of experience working in a spa environment. Karin’s continuous training classes have been held at the Swedish Institute in NYC, The Dermal Institute in NYC and The Northern Massage Group in Parsippany, NJ.
