Meditation Homework: Read and practice the last 5 lesson plans in manual for 1 hour each. Keep a login. Write up a brief description of each Mindful Meditation lesson plan experience. Each Student will lead a 3-minute Mindful Meditation with the class. Reiki Homework: Read Chapters 11 & 12, write a brief description of each chapter. Review Charkas handouts. MeditationHomework: Write up 5-30 min Mindful Meditation lesson plans and teach a small Mindful Meditation Group at least 5 times. Write up a brief description of the teaching experience. Lesson plans and write up must be handed in at next class. Part 5 Review homework. Discuss the business of having a reiki practice and teaching mediation classes. Practice Reiki on classmates. Reiki Homework: set up appointment to give teacher a full Reiki session. Part 6 Check that all homework was summited. Communicate their knowledge of Reiki/Mindful Meditation by a taking a quiz. Review quiz and address any questions or concerns. V. Student Assessment Method Students will be evaluated throughout the course using teacher observation, oral responses and written descriptions and a quiz. VI. Teaching Strategies Interactive power points, demonstration, participation in hands on work, class participation and group interaction.
